New tile floors, new custom cabinets with new granite countertops and backsplash, install of hood and several new appliances and some painting. The team worked hard and did a great job! He installed an excellent shower--one with a 30 year warranty. “Called Jade Enterprises for an estimate of getting our kitchen remodeled. We chose Jade from the ad in Amsterdam Magazine and also from Angie’s List reviews. John came over with his many types of cabinet doors as well as many hardware choices for the cabinets. There were also a large selection of various woods to choose from as well as counter tops and sinks After many combinations of the above mentioned my wife and I agreed on what  will be installed (along with John's recommendations)..and   WOW  what a good choice....between the cabinets being re-surfaced and the counter tops re-done, the tile being replaced...I could go on and on…suffice to say my wife were VERY pleased with our choice of using Jade. “From start to finish we were treated with courtesy and respect.  We initially wanted to repair some kitchen drawers.  The salesperson, John, came out several times to address our concerns, mentioned (gently) that we might want to do the bigger job.  We mulled, they waited patiently.  We went to their location to see examples of their work, and we mulled again.  We went for the refurbishment, and were not pushed at all to go above or around our budget by adding a sink and counter tops which they also do.   It is truly pleasant when you do not feel pushed, but are allowed to make your own decisions. Once we went through the choosing and the measuring, it came to the day the work was to be done.  The crew is polite, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.  If something is not right, they work hard to make it right.  They do not nickel and dime the client for any minor changes that come about during the process.  Any concerns are addressed immediately and thoroughly.  This only takes 2 days to do this job, vs. 2 weeks to bring in new cabinets.  There was nothing wrong with the interior of our cabinets, and we weren't in a position to do a complete kitchen re-do.  My kitchen looks completely new in my eyes, and the workmanship and quality of materials is much higher than if we had done a kitchen re-do. When we do "Chapter 2"--countertops and sink, we would go straight to them.  We highly recommend Jade Enterprises.”

“Right away I found the business owner, Rick, to be personable and knowledgeable. He came out to do an estimate and gave me a competitive quote. I also visited his showroom to get a better idea of what I wanted and he was very accommodating. Once I decided to plan the work Rick gave me a time frame a couple months down the road. I wasn't in a hurry and he works with a small crew so it was fine. He was able to get me in right on schedule. His crew refaced the cabinets in less than two days. They also built a custom cabinet with pull out drawers that looks like it was always an existing part of the kitchen. Once that was done the countertop folks came to template. It was about two weeks before that was ready. At that time Rick was also able to take care of a couple issues with the crown molding and a couple other small touch ups. There was a bit of a delay with the counter delivery which would normally delay the backsplash install. Rick was able to problem solve, and he and his crew member Ray built a "spacer" of sorts so the back splash could be installed before the counter. The timing actually worked out perfectly. The following day the back splash was finished up and the sink was plumbed. Rick and his crew were pleasant and accommodating through the whole process. They were able to take care of some detail oriented issues that I would have never thought of. They were also very accommodating of my picky nature, coming back out to repair a small cracked tile and stained drawer front. Just a couple hiccups but nothing to get upset about, and Rick guarantees the work. More importantly I love my new kitchen and can't stop staring at it!”

“Why anybody would buy kitchen cabinets from a big box store when they can get custom-made furniture grade cabinets for the same price or less from Jade Enterprises is beyond me. These cabinets were custom-built just for my kitchen. A contractor who was working on another part of the house was impressed with the workmanship and told me that I got an incredible bargain. I agree. I could tell that Jade Enterprises would be a great company to work with the minute I met with Rick Miller to get an estimate. I had used architectural software to design a kitchen with a list of cabinets and sizes that I could bring to various kitchen places for estimates. That way, all the estimates would be based on the very same specs so I could compare them. Rick understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a solid estimate in ten minutes. I had already signed the contract with Rick when I heard from the designer at a big box store two weeks later. She called to say that she had designed a kitchen for me, which is not at all what I asked her to do. A couple of days after she called, a designer from a big kitchen and bath place in town called to tell me exactly the same thing. Both these designers had my list and had completely ignored my request for a simple estimate. Rick and I did have one miscommunication- about the depth of the paneling around the refrigerator - because neither one of us talked in precise measurements. I didn't understand just how far the new refrigerator was going to stick out from the surrounding cabinets until the frig was delivered and installed. Rick did offer a pretty easy workaround, but I decided to let it go the way it already was. Now about service, I have to give Rick and his crew an A plus plus. He and they were great. A couple of little things needed to be tweaked after installation and the guys just came back and did what they needed to do. Rick went the extra mile by installing an under-the-sink organizer for me when he came back to install the garbage pullout that was part of the original package. Jade Enterprises gives a credit if you don't choose their hardware so I had used my credit to buy the organizer. I would strongly suggest that customers contract with Jade Enterprises to install the cabinets as well as build them. I wanted cabinets to go all the way to the ceiling, which was somewhat higher than eight feet. So the 43" uppers had a solid bottom door and a smaller upper glass door with grids. These uppers were built in two sections, which apparently isn't the way other companies/brands construct uppers with two styles of door. Rick and his crew are experts at installing these cabinets so just have them do it. I repeat: why would anybody in our area go to an impersonal big box store when they can get such a fine quality product and A+ service from Jade Enterprises, and at such a reasonable price?”
